We are here to help you! This Interactive Digital Tourist Guide is divided into five main sections. The first two are dedicated to 'Tourism and Leisure in the City of Boa Vista' and 'Tourism in the State of Roraima (other municipalities).' How to Use This 'Tourist Guide'?
This guide was designed to be your primary tool for planning and making the most of tourism and leisure in Roraima. Intuitive and easy to navigate, simply click, explore, and use the information practically to enhance your experience. You can access it directly via the website or by downloading the app to your device.
For greater accessibility, the online guide supports over 100 languages through Google’s native translator (instructions available at 'Idiomas - Languages', in the main page of this Guide). However, this functionality is not available in the app. Additionally, the guide features exclusive versions of the main page in English, Spanish, and Macuxi, accessible through the menu or specific icons on the platform.
QR codes are widely used and available at tourist attraction locations. Simply scan them with your smartphone for immediate access to detailed information, maps, routes, practical tips, and photos—all in the palm of your hand.
Interactive maps are one of the guide’s greatest features, available on the guide’s pages through clickable map images, specific buttons, or intuitive icons. Integrated with the powerful Google Maps, the guide allows visitors to locate attractions and tourist services with precision, as well as create personalized routes to explore each destination efficiently and practically.

About the Project, Proposal, and Development Team of the 'Interactive Digital Tourist Guide':
This 'Interactive Digital Tourist Guide' and the 'Roraima Tourism Boa Vista App' (download here) are part of Extension Project no. 039-3-52/2024, titled 'Boa Vista 4.0 - Smart Tourism Without Borders.' This nonprofit initiative was developed by professors and researchers from the State University of Roraima (UERR), under the coordination of the PROEC (Pro-Rectorate for Extension and Culture) and the MultiAmazon-UERR Laboratory. It was conceived and is led by Prof. Dr. Ismar Borges de Lima.
The project's main goal is to enhance and promote tourism in Boa Vista and Roraima through digital and virtual platforms and tools, optimizing these technological resources while fulfilling our academic and institutional role for the people of Roraima.

About the Concept and Methodology Applied in the Development of this 'Interactive Digital Tourist Guide':
The methodology used for the tourism zoning of Boa Vista was carefully designed based on the city's original layout, respecting its historical and urban characteristics. From this perspective, a detailed mapping and inventory of tourist attractions were conducted, along with essential elements such as structures, infrastructure, equipment, and the local trade. This work was fundamental in optimizing the activities of the Boa Vista 4.0 Project participants in identifying and defining the city's Seven Tourism and Leisure Areas.
This survey was also crucial for the planning and creation of the design, dynamics, and layout of the website tourismororaima.boavista.br, which serves as the foundation for the interactive app. The website and app form the core of the Roraima-Boa Vista Interactive Digital Tourist Guide, now available to the public. This innovative digital tool provides practical and interactive information, making it easier to access Boa Vista's attractions and experiences.
